View from the top of the pond....it's so beautiful....

As things get greener and greener...the weeds get bigger and bigger!!

....bark mulch is being tucked everywhere!!

Backyard beginning to look like a park....needs way more sun so the flowers can grow... we've had way too much rain for this project!

We couldn't move another shovel full, so we hired the high school baseball team to come and help!!

Best 4 hrs of labour we ever bought!!

....but we still have some left!!

people...you better check your back pockets when you leave....I'll be sticking it in the weirdest places...hehehe...

We've had this pile of mulch now for a week and it is slowly moving...working so hard that we need a vacation!

Honey, I said....thicker....we need to pile it up thicker!!

Thankfully Vanessa showed up to help us move some of this...couldn't have done it without her. Brent even managed to mow part of the lawn today. So many dandelions!! They were taking over!! I think we should have just covered them with bark mulch....like we have a little pile.... :-)

....and then I caught Siggy digging in the bathtub...burying a bone!! The brat...his days are numbered!

Tony's garden is definitely coming along nicely....

...amazing how clean it's looking! I just wish that the stuff wouldn't fade so fast....

This garden is a little slower because of all of the geraniums and pansies....still lot's to go but we've had enough for today...

......so we figure we still have about 1/2 left??? Move over Imelda, we're going to put you out of business!! We'll be selling the stuff by the bucket (not)!!! lol....

Brent and Vanessa worked on digging up this space so that I can plant sunflowers (corn for Brent!). It rained so hard this weeked that it turned into a little creek, but we managed to put some new soil on top and hopefully by next weekend I can plant here....

So I was saying that bark mulch and black plastic were going to be my best friends....I phoned up Kalesnikoff's and they say no problem you want bark mulch? how much bark mulch? ....and I say lot's! okay how about 45 yards? well.....okay....so they drive up in this...

....and with the silliest grin he opens up the back...

...and still grinning....the bark mulch starts moving...

....oh my gawd!!! 45 yards!!!! why on earth didn't they tell me that it's a friggin' big pile!!!

I couldn't believe how the mulch came out, ever see a live floor?! It actually was very cool....but it's a lot of mulch....sheesh....never again....!!!
